From a freshman year filled with online learning to a historic solar eclipse and earthquake within a week of each other during our senior year, our four years at Fort Hamilton have been marked by exceptional events.
However, we haven’t let these events stop us from making the most of our four years at Fort Hamilton. Whether we were across the building in one of Fort Hamilton’s clubs, on the field playing a sport, performing in the auditorium, or in one of the many classrooms, we have all made our own unique memories at Fort Hamilton.
Even with our own different experiences, we are all united by the fact that we are Fort Hamilton Tigers.
Whether learning how to write a great essay or receiving life lessons like balancing academics and our personal lives, high school has afforded us opportunities to learn and try new things. From being able to explore my new interest in media as an Executive Producer for Tiger Talks, the school podcast, to having the opportunity to develop new hobbies like crocheting, I am thankful for being able to try so many different things in my time at Fort Hamilton.
As we continue to grow, the friendships we have made at Fort Hamilton will be something to remember forever. Whether that is cheering friends on at a game or performance or just having familiar faces in classes, these memories will stay with us long outside of high school. These friendships and other connections that we have made will serve and enrich us for the rest of our lives.
As we move on to the next stage of our lives, we must take the things we learned in high school with us. We have proven that we can rise to the challenges of high school and I know that we will all be able to rise to the challenges of college and beyond.
Although we might not be a Tiger next year, we’ll always remember our time as one.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024; I know we will all go on to great things!
