Ms. Maratos:
Seniors, remember to always lead with kindness, listen more than you speak, put in your best effort to all that you do, and feel confidence built from experience not arrogance, and make yourself, your family, and Fort Hamilton proud!
Ms. Amster-Blugh:
As you graduate and start a new and exciting chapter in your life remember to keep an open mind and take advantage of the opportunities that will be open to you. Follow your dreams while continuing to keep yourself grounded. Every day is a gift, enjoy what each one has to offer you.
Mr. Kaminsky:
Let me start by saying congratulations on graduating. As you begin the next chapter of your lives I have a few pieces of advice for you. First, find that career that brings you joy and fulfillment. I know it is cliched, but enjoying what you do will enhance all aspects of your life. Second, help those around you be the best version of themselves they can be. Success and happiness are always better when those around you are succeeding, too. Lastly, enjoy the wins no matter how big or small they are. Life is complicated so celebrate the good things that you have earned. Once again congratulations and I look forward to hearing about your accomplishments when you come back to visit!
Madame Matsushita:
Don’t be afraid of change. You’re going to go through many transition periods in life where you are shifting from one school to another, to a new job, new responsibilities, new places. You’re going to meet lots of new people and make new friends. Remember that change is a part of life, and enjoy the ride. You can’t go in reverse, so appreciate each life stage as you live it.
Congrats, Class of 2025! We’re cheering you on.
Mr. Alvear:
Congratulations, Class of 2025!
As you embark on the next phase of your extraordinary journey, I hope you will proceed with a desire to be of service, an open mind, a curiosity that knows no limits, and an understanding that you are good enough and deserve to be happy. Work hard and be kind…in the end, those are the only things you can control. May you find what you’re looking for and live a life less ordinary.
Mr. Lovrich:
Build your own story, live your own life. If you search for what you want, then you’ll find fulfillment, love, and joy along the path. But if you find yourself lost on this journey, helping others can provide you with light and direction. Sometimes there is no right answer, but few choices are as permanent as they seem. Walk into the future with humbleness and confidence. The future is filled with choices that will determine what kind of person you really are. Mistakes can be learned from; shortsightedness will always fade to reality. Few things are worth fighting for, but the things that are, are worth every second. And finally, try to have as much fun as possible, this world can be tough- it’s better to laugh and love than to fear and hate.
Ms. Pellegriti:
You can look forward to the future but always remember to enjoy the present moment; make new friends, try new things, explore new places, and remember to always breathe. You got this!
Mr. Rose:
When things get difficult don’t forget your long term goals and make decisions based on that and what will make you happy.
Mr. Delisi:
If your goals and actions do not match each other, then change your goal or actions.
Mr. Randazzo:
Congratulations on all of your accomplishments and for graduating with pride from Fort Hamilton. While you’ve been hyper-focused on getting good grades, participating in clubs and activities, preparing for exams, and managing your course load, you should now take some time to appreciate all you’ve done. In the words of the great sage and philosopher, Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Congratulations again, and I hope to hear from all of you soon.
