The fall season is now over and winter is in full swing. Let’s take a step back and look at what Fort Hamilton High Schools sports teams have accomplished in the fall season. Fort Hamilton High School provides a variety of sports for its students, all of which compete and try their best when it comes to their individual games.
On November 2, 2022, The Fort Hamilton Lady Tigers tennis team won their third PSAL championship at the Flushing Meadows Tennis courts in Queens. When asked how one team can be so successful, Beatrice Tagliafierro, junior playing third singles said, “It always depends on your mindset. How I play and the outcome always depends on my mindset. If I don’t have that confidence in myself it will be difficult for me to be able to play to my full potential. It’s very easy for me to lose hope the moment my opponent scores a point. For me to be able to win I must believe in myself and I must have that perseverance that will help me get through my games.”
The Fort Hamilton Girls’ Bowling Team won two games last season, and Briana Anastasi was ranked top bowler, showing us a little friendly sibling rivalry between the two bowling teams.
