To build momentum for Fort Hamilton High School’s homecoming game, the school organized Spirit week held from September 23, 2024 to September 27, 2024 where students were able to show their school spirit by dressing up for each day of the week.
For Jersey Day held on Monday, September 23rd Fort students wore merchandise showing off their favorite teams.
The next day, Tuesday, September 24th, Fort Hamilton recognized its diversity as students dressed up in garments representing their different cultural backgrounds.
Sporting baggy shorts and tacky tees, Adam Sandler Day was celebrated on Wednesday, September 25th as students came into school looking identical to the esteemed actor.
Alongside pictures from their childhood, students posed dressed similarly to their younger selves for Throwback Thursday on September 26th.
On Friday, September 27th, theme week culminated with students representing their different grades through the colors of their clothing. Freshmans wore red, sophomores blue, juniors pink, and seniors black for the color wars.
This year’s theme week was enjoyed by many students who stepped up to show their school spirit and prefaced a successful homecoming dance and game where students were able to come together to celebrate their tiger pride.
